Herb’s Travel Plaza near Vankleek Hill is hiring for  a full time cook. 

We are seeking an experienced and dependable cook to join our kitchen team.

The cook is responsible  for preparing high-quality meals according to our menu, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring consistency in prestation and taste. This role is key to delivering an excellent dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards,
• ensure food is properly cooked, seasoned and presented before serving,
• maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage areas,
• follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at al times,
• assist in receiving, rotation and storing food supplies,
• work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service,
• monitor stock levels and inform management of shortages,
• perform additional tasks assigned by he Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
