Experienced Parts Specialist for Commercial Truck Repair

Commercial Truck Repair is seeking an experienced Parts Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate would be expected to function, and thrive in our fast paced environment.
Essential Job Duties:
-Order, sell, and stock parts and accessories.
-Answer parts related phone calls.
-Receive parts deliveries.
-Maintain parts inventory, and assist with overall organization of the parts room.
-Assist in the day to day activities in the Parts department, including looking up parts, following up on orders, handing out parts to technicians in the shop, serving over the counter customers.
-Ability to work rotating shifts.

Experience:
- Heavy truck parts: 5 years (preferred)
- Truck or Auto parts: 3 years (required)
Position Requirements / Exigences du poste
Position Requirements:
-1 Year minimum experience in Truck parts field required (5+ years preferred).
-Flexibility to work rotation shifts (7am – 3pm / 3pm – Midnight)
-Valid Ontario Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
-Must be able to lift heavy parts (up to 50 lbs).
-Must be personable, professional, honest, and hard working.
-Must be able to read and write in English, (Ability to speak French is a major asset).
-Must have excellent communication skills.
-Must have experience with computers, and ability to learn new programs/ applications, etc.
-Must be able to multitask and manage incoming calls efficiently.
-Must be a proven self-starter, who can work as part of a fast paced team.
