Beyond 21 is hiring a Physical Education Facilitator

Lead and facilitate activities for adults with developmental disabilities attending Beyond 21. Collaborate in the development and implementation of person-centred plans, monitor progress of goals, engage as a team member and support staff, participants, caregivers, and community partners.

Job Duties: 

• Actively participate in the development and execution of PE programming to facilitate the physical, social, emotional and environmental well-being of all participants
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate such as: cleaning work area or corresponding with families
• Responsible as Head Coach for the Jays Care Baseball Program
• Facilitate community participation and social integration, with a focus on physical education, movement, and education to support participants in their physical and social
development by participating in social and recreational activities
• Assist participants with activities of daily living, including some personal care, medication administration, and mobility assistance, as needed
• Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all
