SCOPE OF POSITION:

The Product Line Manager – Doors is responsible for overseeing the door product line, including interior and exterior doors and accessories, across both import and domestic markets. The role includes product management, sales support, and collaboration with multiple internal teams to drive profitability and product lifecycle success.

Job Duties and Essential Functions:

• Responsible for detailing sales opportunities, retail price management, product inclusion and product deletion, expected inventory items
• Detail margin analysis for each product line
• Manage promotions, support material creation, display, and merchandising management
• In-house support for Door product knowledge, training information, internal communication
• Sales support by being in-house representation for Alexandria Canada sales support and calling on customers with territory Sales Representatives and National Accounts Managers
• Involvement with Purposeful Selling (W-W-H), pricing management on in-bound products from our Door manufacturers
• Product management of all other components or accessories in both the interior and exterior door product lines
• Will work closely with purchasing, Pricing Manager, Territory Sales Representatives, National Accounts Managers, Sales Managers and Marketing

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Regular travel as required, necessitating flexibility and the ability to adapt to different work locations
• The role involves moderate physical activity with frequent walking and occasional lifting or reaching
• Tasks require consistent focus and dexterity, along with the ability to adapt to changing physical requirements throughout the day
• Near and far vision, along with color differentiation, peripheral awareness, and depth perception, are essential for task accuracy and safety

Education/Experience:

• 2 – 4 years related experience
• Post Collegiate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• MS office suite (power point, excel, word), e-mail and internet savvy
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history for insurance purposes

Salary:

• $85,000 per year, with potential for higher earnings commensurate with experience
